2nd: The Face of Deafeat

Magenta is pleased to announce the publication of our newest photography book, 2nd: The Face of Deafeat by Sandy Nicholson. Book launch & exhibition opening: Sep 25, 2008, at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto.

Carte Blanche 2: Painting

The exhibition mounted in conjunction with the release of Carte Blanche Vol. 2: Painting opens on November 15, 2008 at the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Art (MOCCA). Curators David Liss, Director of MOCCA, and Clint Roenisch, independent curator, have chosen work by ten artists from each category (Emerging, Mid-Career and Established), thirty in total, to be featured in the exhibition. Flash Forward: Emerging Photographers 2008 — Winners Announced!

Magenta would like to thank all the artists who submitted their work to this project. The final list of winners has been posted, and the exhibition & book launch will be held October 2008.
